I would use them in my current quest to find gainful employment. Handing either a business card or post card to recruiters should improve my chances of being remembered when positions matching my qualifications come down the pipeline.

I would "forget" cards next to computers at the computer lab at my college. People who use computers there would be people interested in my services.

Additionally I would slip a card or two with my homework, since homework assignments exchange a lot of hands.
